Travel Information
As with all our Family Racedays, we get extremely busy, so we recommend arriving early to secure a free parking spot. Our free parking operates on a first come, first served basis. If you require accessible parking, please speak to our stewards or get in contact with our racecourse team ahead of the day.
We advise customers car share where possible to ease traffic. You should plan for traffic and travel accordingly.
There are some great public transport options available. We advise checking local bus and train schedules ahead of time as some services may be limited due to the Bank Holiday.
Great Yarmouth Train Station is just one mile away from the racecourse with regular bus services and an array of taxis available to and from the station.
Weather
It’s looking like the sun will be on our side this weekend! With highs of 17 degrees predicted we advise racegoers keep hydrated throughout the day. Whilst we are hoping for dry weather all day, we recommend checking the forecast ahead of time to ensure customers dress accordingly.
Food and Drink
Picnics are permitted in our General Enclosure only. Please note, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are not permitted across all enclosures. Tap water is available in all bars across site.
We have a wide variety of food and drink concessions available, including the Final Furlong serving loaded chilli beef nachos. Vegetarian alternative also available
There will also be a variety of concessions including fish & chips, hog roast, burgers, hot dogs and sweat stalls.
Security
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
Please be patient and limit the bags you bring. Remember, no food or drink can be brought into the racecourse unless you are in the General Enclosure.
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.
