Still got a question? Please check out the detailed FAQs on visiting post-19th July below:

Do I need to do a lateral flow test or prove my vaccination status before attending?

You do not need to provide a negative Covid-19 test result or proof of vaccination. However, please do not attend the racecourse if you:

Please reply to your ticket email if any of the above applies to request a credit voucher or refund.

We would strongly encourage racegoers to ensure they are proven to be Covid negative in advance of attending for their own peace of mind. We recommend taking a lateral flow test 24 hours prior to attending and 48 hours afterwards. If customers would like to take a readily available Covid 19 test before visiting, they can order these here.

Do I need to wear a facemasks

Face masks are recommended to be worn in areas where you will come into close contact with lots of other people, particularly indoors. This is for the safety of your fellow racegoers.

What about staff, will they be wearing a face covering?

As with spectators, face masks are recommended to be worn in all inside and crowded areas. These are no longer mandatory but is for the safety of racegoers and fellow staff.

If someone is found to be Covid positive, will everyone on the racecourse be asked to self-isolate?

Should an individual subsequently test positive for Covid-19 having attended a race meeting, the venue will be issued with a recommendation notice to be tested. This means that if you checked in, you will be encouraged to take a test as soon as possible. You will only be asked to self-isolate if this test proves to be positive.

If you were a close contact with the individual who tested positive, you will be contacted by Track & Trace and asked to self-isolate as per Government guidance.

What facilities will be on course to help with sanitation?

We will continue to provide copious opportunity for racegoers to sanitise their hands, with alcoholic hand gel stations and wash basin facilities provided.

Can I now purchase extra tickets on the day?

Yes! Online tickets remain open during each fixture and can be used to purchase tickets on the day of racing. You can also buy a ticket on the gate.

Will the raceday experience be as it was pre-Covid?

We have been working hard alongside the Government, local health authorities and safety groups to safely allow racegoers to return. With the removal of all remaining legal requirements, we are confident that racegoers will enjoy a familiar environment with all of the usual elements that are loved about a raceday: seeing elite thoroughbred racehorses and elite athletes, fantastic food & beverage choices and a variety of betting options. We ask that racegoers remain considerate of their fellow racegoers and respect the environment that they are in for the enjoyment and safety of all on course.

Enclosures

Until the end of July we will run on one enclosure, Grandstand. After the end of July our Premier enclosure, restaurants and hospitality will re-open.
